FlySafair is a low-cost budget airline that entered the South African airlines recently and owned by both South African businesses and the Irish ASL Aviation Group.
The airline's operations are carried out by Safair operations (Pty) Ltd. The company has an Employee Share Ownership plan that has enabled its employees to own 25% of its shares.
The airline’s flights fly to from major South African cities namely: Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and George.

The airline’s baggage policy allows for checked baggage not exceeding 2kg and handbags not exceeding 7kg. Bags exceeding 32kg are not allowed while those exceeding 20kg are charged R450 for every bag.;
